Overcome Shiny Object Syndrome Now
If a sales page ticks 5 or more of these "Shiny Detector Checklist" items then there is an EXCEEDINGLY good chance it is a shiny object!
Does the sale page show screenshots of profit which do not appear to be backed up with any real reason or purpose other than to hype up the product?
Does the sales page use a lot of emotional triggers to make you excited about the possibility of the product? Words like:
*NOTE - there are plenty of honest products which use the "emotional" sales angle. Nothing wrong with that in itself but combine it with the other items and it is a warning sign.
Does the page have a countdown time which resets when you refresh the sale page?
*NOTE - depending on the page builder the vendor is using they may not have the ability to use a better countdown timer so take this with a pinch of salt but be aware of it so you do not feel pressured to buy.
...such as “passive/autopilot traffic/sales/followers/leads”. Check the wording very carefully. Do they imply their service guarantees results?
No legitimate service will ever guarantee any results of any kind.
Does the product or service claim to be "first of it's kind" or "never seen before method"? Think about that claim and use your common sense.
Is the vendor using any luxury items to distract you, such as, cars, women, Rolex watches or expensive hotels?
Go to Google and search for previous products by the vendor. Search for terms like:
And you will find previous listing of the vendor. Are they using the same testimonials from previous products with the exact same wording?

Check their proof of income or whatever results they claim to have gotten, are they the same for every product even though the products are different?

Does the vendor launch a fresh product every single month or every second month? If so, do you think they will provide good support and maintain their previous products? Remember, this change pretty quick in this business.
Scroll down to the bottom of the sales page and check the legal pages, such as the Privacy Policy and the Income Disclaimers. Some vendors are so lazy that they are dead links or the text inside refer to an older launch and NOT the product you are looking at.
If you have purchased from this vendor before and did not like the product, DON'T buy from them again!
Search in Google & YouTube for product review but do NOT look at the people who promote it. Look for the reviews that speak against the product and listen to what they say.
